Position Statement on Services Provided by Root Behaviour & Pet Services.
In light of the outbreak of the corona virus (COVID-19) and government advice the following outline is the position of Root Behaviour & Pet Services and applies to all clients.
There are a vast selection of owners that use services including those in the more at risk group, please take a few minutes to read through this article.

Dog Walking:
Dog walking services will be running as normal with the additional precautions:
I will be using my own leads for walks to reduce hand contact with your own equipment.
Hand sanitiser is kept in my vehicle and will be used before entry into your home.
I will wash my hands with soap on entering and leaving your home.
Please ensure you inform Root Behaviour & Pet Services as soon as possible if you have been told to self-isolate or are being tested for the virus so appropriate extra measures can be taken.
Pet Sitting:
Drop in pet services will be running as normal with the additional precautions:
Hand sanitiser is kept in my vehicle and will be used before entry into your home.
I will wash my hands with soap on entering and leaving your home.
Please inform Root Behaviour & Pet Services as soon as possible if you need to cancel drop in pet service or overnight sit due to Corona Virus related holiday cancellations.
1-2-1 Training and Behaviour Consultations:
Strict hygiene measures will be maintained before and after seeing clients. Please ensure you inform Root Behaviour & Pet Services as soon as possible if you have been told to self-isolate or are being tested for the virus so we can reschedule your booking.
What happens if Ruth Moots has to self-isolate?
I will inform you as soon as possible to reduce inconvenience as much as possible. Services will be paused and re-scheduled according to the situation. Hopefully this will not happen as it will have a very significant impact on the business.
It is imperative that all clients remain vigilant and thoughtful during this time to minimise disruption. The impact on small business during this virus could have very detrimental effects.
