ABOUT ME

Ruth is a veterinarian who studied Veterinary Medicine and Surgery at the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies, graduating in 2017. During her final year of studying she adopted a lurcher, Stanley, with dog reactivity and separation anxiety. Working on training him to become comfortable with being left alone and being calm around strange dogs confirmed her interest in animal behaviour.

Ruth continued her education in animal behaviour by undertaking a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour at the University of Lincoln, graduating in January 2019.

Ruth has spent her life so far surrounded by dogs, horses and small animals. By looking after a dog with behavioural problems, she understands the impact these can have on day-to-day lives while not wanting to give up because of the bond shared between dog and owner.

Ruth is a supporting member of the International Association of Pet Behaviour Consultants and a professional member of the Pet Professional Network , fully insured and DBS checked.
